Scope

Scope: This document defines the terms and definitions of high-quality rapeseed production technology in Jingchu Grain and Oil, including variety selection, planting location, mechanical direct sowing, seedling transplantation, field management, mechanical harvesting, and production archives in the production of high-quality rapeseed in Jingchu Grain and Oil. This document is applicable to rapeseed planting areas in Hubei Province. Main technical content: Terms and definitions. The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 Double-Low Rapeseed The erucic acid content in rapeseed oil and the sulfonyl glucosinolate content in rapeseed cake should meet the requirements of NY/T 415. Specifically, the erucic acid content in rapeseed oil should be ≤5%, and the sulfonyl glucosinolate content in each gram of rapeseed cake should be ≤45 μmol. 3.2 High-Quality Rapeseed High-yielding, stress-resistant rapeseed varieties that meet the requirements of NY 414 are selected. These varieties are grown through green cultivation techniques, with high oil content and sulfonyl glucosinolate content meeting the requirements of NY/T 415. 4 Variety Selection Select high-yielding, stress-resistant, and disease-resistant rapeseed varieties that have passed the national non-major crop variety registration and are suitable for local growing conditions. For areas with a risk of root-swelling disease, root-swelling-resistant double-low rapeseed varieties are preferred. Seed quality should meet the requirements of GB 4407.2 and NY 414. Planting Location Selection Choose areas with good isolation from other cruciferous crops, concentrated and continuous land, convenient irrigation and drainage, and well-developed farmland infrastructure. The previous crop should not be a cruciferous crop. The area should meet the requirements of NY/T 846. 6. Mechanical Direct Sowing 6.1 Sowing period: Mid-September to late October. 6.2 Sowing quant
