Scope
This standard specifies the method for determining the water resistance of paper and paperboard.
This standard is applicable to paper and paperboard that are made waterproof or water-resistant by means of internal sizing, surface sizing, coating, compounding with waterproof layers, or any other method.
This method is not applicable to corrugated cardboard.
