This part of GB/T 22899 specifies a method for measuring the moisture absorption and expansion rate of paper and cardboard under a balanced relative humidity of (33±2)% to (84±2)%.
The purpose of this part is to reveal the performance of paper and cardboard under high relative humidity, and it can also be used to measure the impact of short-term excessive moisture during the printing process on paper.
This part is applicable to general paper and cardboard.
This part is not applicable to crepe paper and corrugated cardboard.
