Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and requirements for marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of fiber-grade polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) pellets.
This standard applies to the factory inspection, user acceptance, and arbitration inspection of fiber-grade polybutylene terephthalate polyester pellets (hereinafter referred to as PBT pellets) produced from purified terephthalic acid and 1,4-butanediol as raw materials. Other PBT pellets can be used as reference for inspection.
