Scope

This standard specifies the testing and evaluation methods for the insulation performance of insulating textiles when they are exposed to high-temperature solid surfaces for a short period of time.
This standard is applicable to contact-type kitchen insulation textile products such as insulating gloves and insulating pads.
This standard is not applicable to insulating textiles that come into contact with open flames.
