Scope
This document specifies the specimens and their preparation for the dynamic tear test of metal materials, the testing machine, the testing procedure, the measurement of the shear section rate, the processing of the test results, and the test report.
This document is applicable to the determination of the dynamic tear strength and shear section rate of metal materials or welded joint specimens with a Rockwell hardness value of less than 36 HRC.
