Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, farming techniques, and disease prevention and control techniques for the new variety of Chinese mitten crabs (Eriocheir sinensis) named "Yangtze River No.1". This standard is applicable to the pond farming of "Yangtze River No.1" Chinese mitten crabs, with a yield of 100 to 125 crabs per mu and an average size of around 170 g per crab.
