Scope
1.0.1 In order to standardize the quality inspection and evaluation of airfield pavement projects in civil airports and ensure the quality of the projects, this standard is formulated. 【Article Explanation】The "Regulations on Quality Management of Construction Projects" stipulate that after the construction unit receives the application for project completion acceptance, it shall organize relevant units such as design, survey, construction, and project supervision to conduct completion acceptance. Only after the construction project passes the acceptance can it be put into use. 1.0.2 This standard applies to the quality inspection and evaluation of airfield pavement projects in civil transport airports (including the civil part of airports shared by military and civilian use). The quality inspection and evaluation of airfield pavement projects in general airports can be carried out in accordance with this standard. The airfield pavement projects referred to in this standard include earthwork and foundation treatment, slope protection, pavement, road surface, drainage, bridges, culverts, fire pipe networks, fencing, etc. 【Article Explanation】This article amends the original standard from "general aviation airports and helicopter airports can refer to this standard for implementation" to "the quality inspection and evaluation of airfield pavement projects in general airports can refer to this standard for implementation".
