Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of the police flag (hereinafter referred to as the "police flag").
This standard applies to the production, inspection, and procurement of police flags made from chemical fibers (excluding artificial fibers) and silk. Police flags made from other materials such as paper shall be implemented in accordance with this standard.
