Scope

This standard specifies the test method for bending and hydraulic pulse tests of steel wire-reinforced rubber and plastic hoses and hose assemblies.
This standard applies to high-pressure hydraulic hoses and hose assemblies that withstand pulse pressure during use.
This standard provides two bending methods for hoses and hose assemblies, and the actual pulse test pressure is given in ISO 6803.
