Scope
Scope: This document specifies the terminology and definitions of Dazhou winter vegetables, planting technical requirements, processing process flow, quality requirements, inspection rules, marking, labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage. This document applies to the cultivation and processing of Dazhou winter vegetables; Main technical content: 4.1 Planting Technical Requirements 4.1.1 Natural Environment - Geological and topographical features: The production area of Dazhou winter vegetables is located in the southeast of the Sichuan Basin and the northwest of Chongqing City, situated at the junction of the hilly areas of central Sichuan and the parallel ridges and valleys of eastern Sichuan. The administrative area of Dazhou features gently rolling hills with an altitude of around 400m, small plains along river banks, and shallow hilly areas with small patches of forested slopes. - Soil: The main soils include yellow loam, alluvial soil, paddy soil, and purple soil. The soil layer is deep and fertile, with rich humus and organic matter content, a pH value of 5.3–6.4, and an organic matter content of 16–26g/kg. - Climate: Dazhou belongs to a subtropical humid monsoon climate, with high temperatures and heavy rainfall in summer, and mild and humid weather in winter. The average annual temperature is 17.2°C, with a frost-free period of 323 days, an average annual rainfall of 1004mm, an average daily sunshine duration of 1279 hours, and an effective accumulated temperature of 6133°C. 4.2 Variety Selection - Select high-yielding, adaptable, and processing-friendly varieties with strong resistance, high quality, large leaf size, and tall stem height. 4.3 Seedling Site Preparation - Select loose, fertile, and well-drained soils with convenient irrigation and drainage as seedbeds.
