Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, general principles, dam foundation treatment works, dam body (base) anti-seepage works, dam body filling works, anti-wave wall works, dam body (face) drainage works, dam body and bank slope connection works, dam body and other building connection works, reservoir bank slope treatment works, dam slope (base) protection works, flood control road works, and other construction quality acceptance tests for completed projects of earth dams. This standard applies to large and medium-sized reservoir earth dam projects. Small reservoir earth dam projects may refer to it for implementation. For spillway, culvert and other dam-crossing structures, as well as observation facilities, the acceptance tests for completed projects shall refer to other relevant regulations and standards. For particularly important earth dams, special studies should be conducted.
