Scope: This document specifies the terms and definitions of heavy metal pollution in arable land soil in Yunnan Province, the basic principles, and the key technical points for safe utilization. This document is applicable to the safe utilization of arable land classified as safe utilization and strictly controlled in Yunnan Province according to the environmental quality categories determined by the document. Other types of agricultural land such as orchards and pastures can refer to this document for implementation. Main technical content: To achieve the core goal of ensuring that the heavy metal content in agricultural products from contaminated arable land meets standards, comprehensive consideration is given to the types, degrees, and scope of arable land pollution, the properties and utilization methods of arable land soil, the coordinated monitoring data of agricultural product quality, and the alternative technologies for safe utilization of arable land contaminated by heavy metals, as well as their possible effects, costs, and environmental impacts. Based on these factors, scientific selection of safe utilization technologies for arable land contaminated by heavy metals is made.
