Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, product quality certificates and user manuals, as well as the packaging, transportation, and storage of inorganic fiber insulation boards for thin plaster exterior wall insulation systems. This standard applies to inorganic fiber insulation boards for thin plaster exterior wall insulation systems (coating finishes or curtain wall finishes) used in industrial and civil buildings. All materials used in the system should be supplied by the system product manufacturer.
