Scope
This document specifies the service quality indicators, requirements, and corresponding testing methods for inter-network forwarding of non-point-to-point short messages during number portability. This document only governs the service quality between the operator's non-point-to-point short message access network element (i.e., industry gateway/service gateway) and the called user. The service quality between the SP and the access network element is not covered by this standard. This document is applicable to the testing and evaluation of the inter-network forwarding quality of non-point-to-point short messages during number portability.
