Scope
Scope: This document specifies the liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry analysis method for the determination of 11 types of fungal toxins in corn and its products, including fumonisin B1 (FB1), fumonisin B2 (FB2), fumonisin B3 (FB3), deoxynivalenol (DON), 3-acetyl deoxynivalenol (3-ADON), 15-acetyl deoxynivalenol (15-ADON), zearalenone (ZEN), ochratoxin A (OTA), T-2 toxin, aflatoxin B1 (AFB1), and aflatoxin B2 (AFB2). Main technical content: This document is applicable to the determination of 11 types of fungal toxins in corn and its products, including fumonisin B1, fumonisin B2, fumonisin B3, deoxynivalenol, 3-acetyl deoxynivalenol, 15-acetyl deoxynivalenol, zearalenone, ochratoxin A, T-2 toxin, aflatoxin B1, and aflatoxin B2. The quantification limits of this method for fumonisin B1, fumonisin B2, fumonisin B3, zearalenone, ochratoxin A, T-2 toxin, aflatoxin B1, and aflatoxin B2 are 0.001 mg/kg, and for deoxynivalenol, 3-acetyl deoxynivalenol, and 15-acetyl deoxynivalenol, they are 0.005 mg/kg.
