Scope
This standard specifies the method for determining trace copper ions in salt products by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. This standard is applicable to the determination of trace copper ions in edible salt, industrial salt, low-sodium salt, fortified nutritional salt, casing salt, potassium chloride, magnesium chloride, magnesium sulfate, and sodium sulfate. The detection range of this method is: 0.02 mg/kg to 2.0 mg/kg; the detection limit is: 0.02 mg/kg.
