Scope

This standard specifies the determination methods for four tobacco-specific nitrosamines, namely N-nitrosodinatylamine (NNN), N-nitrosonoradrenaline (NAT), N-nitrosopseudocolanine (NAB), and 4-(methylnitrosamino)-1-(3-pyridyl)-1-butanone (NNK), in the total particulate phase of cigarette mainstream smoke.
This standard is applicable to the determination of the above four tobacco-specific nitrosamines in the total particulate phase of cigarette smoke.
