Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions of seedlings used in Litsea cubeba energy-use forests, technical specifications for seedling cultivation including seed treatment, nursery site selection and preparation, sowing, cutting selection, substrate selection, cutting propagation methods, cutting selection, seedling management, and seedling removal from the nursery, as well as seedling quality grading. Due to the fact that the grafting reproduction technology for Litsea cubeba is not yet mature, this standard does not stipulate the cultivation and quality grading of grafted seedlings. This standard applies to the cultivation and quality grading of Litsea cubeba seedlings and cutting seedlings for energy use.
