Scope

This standard specifies the measurement method for radial distortion of optical systems.
This standard applies to optical systems with a spectral range of 100 nm to 15,000 nm and with rotational symmetry. For electron-optical imaging systems that meet the requirements of rotational symmetry, this standard can also be used as a reference.
This standard does not apply to deformable optical systems.
