Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of stainless steel corrugated expansion joints (hereinafter referred to as expansion joints) with flange connections and sealing surfaces according to GB/T 569, ISO 7005-1 (PN series), and Class J flanges (JIS B 2220, JIS F 7805).
This standard applies to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of expansion joints for internal combustion engine exhaust systems and other pipelines.
