Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage of chlorine dioxide solid release agents.
This standard applies to chlorine dioxide solid release agents in single and dual packaging, which are mainly used as disinfectants, algaecides, deodorants, and oxidative detoxifying agents for water bodies, soils, air, and surfaces of objects, as well as bleaching agents for cotton products, bamboo products, and wood.
This standard does not apply to slow-release chlorine dioxide solid release agents and multi-component chlorine dioxide release agents in liquid packaging.
