Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for water supply units in terms of customer service, emergency response service, water quality assurance service, water pressure assurance service, repair service, material supply service, and information assurance service in the urban emergency water supply guarantee service. This standard applies to the emergency water supply guarantee service for domestic water provided by water supply units in urban areas and cities under municipal jurisdiction. Where the emergency water supply guarantee in urban areas and cities under municipal jurisdiction complies with the relevant emergency plans of the municipalities or cities, the provisions of such plans shall prevail, and the scope of this standard shall not apply to such cases.
