Scope
This document is applicable to the determination of the tensile strength range of steel sections (such as H-beams, I-beams, steel plates, and channel sections) in industrial and civil building steel structures using the Leeb hardness test method, provided that the strength grade of the tested steel sections does not exceed Q460. It is not applicable to the testing of the strength of steel materials that have undergone heat treatment.
