Scope

This standard specifies the terminology and definitions, basic requirements, prevention, inspection, hazard level assessment, eradication, and credit management for the entire process of termite prevention and control in dam projects. In addition to complying with this standard, termite prevention and control work in dam projects shall also comply with the provisions of the current relevant national standards. This standard applies to termite prevention and control in reservoir dams, important mountain ponds, seawalls with a design flood (tide) standard of once in 20 years or higher, Grade 1-4 embankment projects with a design flood (tide) standard of once in 20 years or higher, and supporting water conservancy facilities. Other earthwork projects may refer to and implement this standard accordingly.
