Scope
This standard specifies the test technique for determining the collimation ratio of the neutron beam in thermal neutron radiography (with an L/D value between 20 and 1000). This technique is based on analyzing the imaging quality of neutron radiography using a zero-shutter device, without the need to measure and calculate the physical dimensions of the collimator system. All the devices used in this standard have been tested using a Gd foil conversion screen and high-resolution single-sided film placed in a vacuum dark box.
