This standard applies to all member units of the Shaanxi Genetics Society. This protocol applies to the full-process mechanized production of millet in Shaanxi Province. 2. Terms and Definitions: The following terms and definitions apply to this document. - 3.1 Combine Harvest: A harvest method that uses combine harvesters to complete the millet harvest, threshing, and straw crushing in one go. - 3.2 Indirect Harvest: A harvest method that first uses mowers to cut down the millet, then dries it in the field for 5–7 days before threshing it with pick-up threshing machines. 4. Equipment 4.1 Precision Sowing Machine for Millet: Row spacing 30 cm, uniform seed placement, adjustable row spacing, and adjustable sowing quantity up to 0.3 kg/667 m2. 4.2 Combine Harvester for Millet: Total harvest loss rate ≤8%, impurity rate ≤6%, and crushing rate ≤0.5%. 4.3 Mower for Millet: Loss rate ≤2%, and productivity 0.3–0.4 hm2/h. 4.4 Pick-up Threshing Machine: Total millet loss rate ≤5%, and productivity 0.3–0.4 hm2/h. 5. Variety Selection: Select high-quality, high-yielding varieties with good grain appearance and palatability, strong resistance to adverse conditions, and excellent marketability. 6.
