Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of textile thermal resistance and moisture resistance testers.
This standard applies to textile thermal resistance and moisture resistance testers (hereinafter referred to as thermal and moisture resistance testers) that have constant temperature and humidity functions and use the evaporative heat plate method to detect thermal resistance and moisture resistance under a specific airflow velocity.
Note: The structural description of the evaporative heat plate method is described in GB/T 11048—2008, Section 5.1.
