Scope

This standard specifies the classification and marking of closed expansion tanks, general requirements, testing methods, inspection rules, marking, installation and maintenance instructions, as well as certificates of conformity, packaging, transportation, and storage.
This standard applies to closed expansion tanks used in building heating and air conditioning systems and domestic water supply systems, where the working medium is water or a certain concentration of glycol water solution (with a glycol content not exceeding 49%), the working temperature range is -10 ℃~70 ℃, and the working pressure does not exceed 1.6 MPa.
