Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements for materials and equipment, methodological procedures, result calculation, and evaluation reports for evaluating the operating effectiveness of circulating cooling water treatment using the monitoring heat exchanger method.
This standard is applicable to the evaluation of the water treatment operation effectiveness of indirect cooling open-loop circulating cooling water systems by monitoring corrosion, scaling, and biological sludge on the heat exchanger through the bypass of the circulating cooling water system under normal operating conditions.
