Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for hydraulic hoses and hose assemblies reinforced with steel wire or synthetic yarn, with a nominal inner diameter ranging from 3.2 to 31.5. Each category of all specifications of the hoses has a single maximum working pressure. These hoses are suitable for ISO 6743-4 defined HH, HL, HM, HR, and HV hydraulic fluids. The applicable temperature range for Class A and Class B hoses is -40℃ to +100℃, and for Class C and Class D hoses, it is -40℃ to +120℃.
This standard does not include requirements for end fittings, and is limited to the performance of hoses and hose assemblies. The maximum working pressure of hose assemblies depends on the lowest value of the maximum working pressure of the assembly.
