This standard specifies the methods for determining the total silicon content in demineralized water, steam, condensed water, boiler feedwater, and boiler water.
This standard is applicable to the analysis of boiler water, with a total silicon content range of: 0–100 μg/L or 0–500 μg/L of SiO2 content.
