Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements for the real-time fluorescent PCR detection method of the bovine infectious rhinotracheitis virus (bovine herpesvirus type I, BoHV-1).
This standard is applicable to the rapid detection of BoHV-1 virus infection in samples such as bovine blood, swabs, semen, animal tissues (mucous membranes, liver, spleen, kidneys, lymph nodes, placental tissues, etc.) and cell cultures.
