Scope
This document provides general installation guidance for adjustable stud ends and tube joints with O-rings, and provides information on the possible mixing of different types of oil ports and stud ends or plugs (see Appendix A). The installation of tube joints in accordance with this document can significantly reduce leaks in hydraulic systems. This document is applicable to the most commonly used oil ports, stud ends, and plugs in hydraulic drive systems.
