Scope

This standard specifies the method of measuring the puncture strength of fabrics using a pointed rod. There are three specifications of the pointed rod, and one of them can be selected according to needs.
This standard is applicable to woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, nonwoven fabrics, and various composite materials.
This standard is not applicable to mesh fabrics, fabrics with large pores, and fabrics with high elasticity.
