Scope
This standard specifies the evaluation methods and indicators for yield loss due to drought in the paddy field during the growing season of medium-season rice. Three methods, including the water cutoff days method, the soil relative humidity method, and the rice water deficiency rate method, are used to evaluate the yield loss due to drought in rice. This standard is applicable to the transplanting medium-season rice cultivation areas in the Jianghuai hilly regions.
