Scope

This standard specifies the techniques and methods for sorting conductive materials using direct and comparative thermoelectric potential sorters based on the Seebeck effect.
This standard is applicable to metal material sorting, and it is suitable for manual sorting of metal workpieces one by one, as well as for automated sorting of large batches of metal workpieces. The identification and sorting of the thickness, hardness, and hardening layer depth of metal electroplating layers can be carried out in accordance with this standard.
