Scope
This standard specifies the rules for the compilation of serial numbers for civilian firearms, the requirements for the marking of serial numbers, the requirements for packaging and labeling, the requirements for the numbering and packaging labeling of civilian firearms exported, the requirements for the collection and reporting of information on civilian firearms, and management requirements.
This standard applies to the serial numbering, packaging labeling, and management of civilian firearms as stipulated in the "Firearms Management Law of the People's Republic of China".
