Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for rhenium particles, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and the contents of quality certificates and purchase orders (or contracts).
This standard applies to metallic rhenium particles made by powder metallurgy and used in nickel-based high-temperature alloys and other rhenium-containing alloys as an additive of the rhenium element.
