Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificates, and contract (or order form) content for tungsten top plates used in ion source arc chambers.
This standard applies to tungsten top plates produced by powder metallurgy sintering, which are made from tungsten bars or ingots and are used in ion source arc chambers after being rolled and machined.
