Scope
This standard specifies the message structure and tag definitions of the XML-based shipment notice used for data exchange between the relevant parties during the transportation process, as well as the structure of the XML Schema. This standard applies to the electronic data exchange of pre-shipment notification information for goods, which is transmitted between the shipper, the shipper's agent, the carrier, the receiving agency, and/or local agents, providing detailed information about the shipped goods (including dangerous goods); it also applies to the provision of insurance information related to the goods.
