Scope

Main technical content: The natural conditions of the production area are suitable for cultivation, and ginseng can be grown in all areas of Kuandian Manzu Autonomous County. The slope is 20-25°, and the terrain is mainly east-facing and west-facing. The climate of Kuandian belongs to a temperate humid climate with distinct seasons and small day-night temperature differences. The average annual temperature is 7°C, the frost-free period is 140 days, and the average annual sunshine duration is 2,400 hours. The soil conditions should meet the requirements of GB 15618. The pH value should be 6.0-6.5, and black sandy soil or yellow sandy soil should be selected, with a sand content of 25%-30%. There should be a layer of dead branches and leaves more than 4 cm thick on the surface, a layer of humus of more than 10% in the top layer, and a layer of loose black soil or loose yellow soil in the middle layer. The bottom layer should be yellow clay soil or gravel. The soil should contain more than 150 mg/kg of nitrogen released by alkali, more than 200 mg/kg of quick-acting potassium, and more than 20 mg/kg of effective phosphorus. The vegetation should mainly consist of oak trees, coniferous and broadleaf forests, and mixed small shrubs. The trees should be more than 20 years old, with a height of more than 12 m, and a canopy density of 0.7-0.9 and a light transmittance of 15-25%. The selected seed varieties should mainly include Yannei Lu, Jinkipixianwen Duanhalu, Xianlu, and Caolu. The quality of the seedlings should meet the requirements of GB 6941. The disinfected dry seeds should be soaked in a 10-fold solution of garlic for 10-15 minutes. The water seeds should be soaked in a 200-fold solution of 50% Multisporin for 20 minutes, then removed and rinsed with clean water 2-3 times until the surface is dry.
