Scope

This standard specifies the determination method of metronidazole (abbreviated as MNZ, the same below), dimetridazole (abbreviated as DMZ, the same below), and their metabolites 2-hydroxymethyl-1-methyl-5-nitroimidazole (abbreviated as HMMNI, the same below), ipronidazole (abbreviated as IPZ, the same below), and their metabolites 2-(2-hydroxyisopropyl)-1-methyl-5-nitroimidazole (abbreviated as IPZOH), and lornoxicam (abbreviated as RNZ, the same below) by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry in royal jelly. The English names, structural formulas, CAS numbers, and relative molecular masses of the above nitroimidazole drugs are listed in Appendix A.
This standard is applicable to the determination of nitroimidazole drugs and their metabolites residues in royal jelly.
