Basic Information
Scope
Scope: This standard specifies the requirements for the geographical indication product Shibing Taizi Shen's production environment, cultivation techniques, and harvesting methods. This standard applies to the cultivation and harvesting of the geographical indication product Shibing Taizi Shen; Main technical content: 1. Production environment 1.1 Climate conditions: Taizi Shen often grows in mixed forests, broadleaf forests, shrubs, and shaded areas of rocks at altitudes of 300–1100 m, as a perennial rhizomatous herb. It prefers a warm and humid climate, avoids high temperatures and strong sunlight exposure, and thrives when the daily average temperature is 10–20 °C. When the temperature exceeds 30 °C, its growth stagnates. It is sensitive to drought and waterlogging, and standing water easily causes root rot. 1.2 Environmental conditions: It can grow in soils with a pH range of 4.5–8.5, with optimal growth at pH 6.0–6.5. It prefers loose, humus-rich sandy soils. The soil must meet the requirements of GB 15618, the air must meet the requirements of GB 3095, and the irrigation water must meet the requirements of GB 5084. 1.3 Site selection: The base should have an excellent ecological environment, away from sources of pollution such as industrial and mining enterprises, hospitals, garbage dumps, livestock farms, main highways, and residential areas. The water quality should also be unpolluted. 2. Cultivation techniques 2.1 Site selection: Choose a gently sloping north-facing slope at an altitude of 700–1100 m for planting, with a slope of less than 25°, a soil layer thickness of more than 40 cm, and fertile, loose, humus-rich, and well-drained micro-acidic sandy soils. For flat-land planting sites, dig drainage ditches to prevent waterlogging. Implement crop rotation, with a minimum rotation interval of 3 years. Avoid preceding crops such as solanaceae and cruciferae. 2.2 Tilling and land preparation: Apply base fertilizer 15 days before planting. Spray 50% Chlorpyr
