Scope

This part of GB/T 24986 specifies the common parameters and evaluation methods for the quantitative evaluation of the reliability of indoor heaters for household and similar purposes (hereinafter referred to as "heaters"). This part is applicable to portable and stationary heaters with a rated voltage of not more than 250 V for single-phase appliances, and a rated voltage of not more than 480 V for other appliances. This part is not applicable to the following heaters: -- heaters installed in building structures; -- central heating systems; -- heaters connected to air ducts; -- wallpaper, blankets, curtains or pipes equipped with soft electric heating elements; -- household heat storage indoor heaters; -- bathroom electric heaters (bathroom heaters).
