Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements for the clinical diagnosis and laboratory diagnosis of infectious bursal disease.
This standard applies to the diagnosis, detection, monitoring, and epidemiological investigation of infectious bursal disease in chickens. Among them, agar gel immunodiffusion test, reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR), real-time fluorescent reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (real-time fluorescent RT-PCR), and virus isolation are diagnostic methods suitable for the detection and virus isolation of clinically suspected samples. The agar gel immunodiffusion test method is also suitable for the detection of immune antibody levels.
