Scope

This part of GB/T 33523 specifies the rules for using graphic symbols to represent the surface structure of regions in product technical documents (such as drawings, specifications, contracts, and reports).
Appendix A of this part provides the proportions and dimensions of graphic symbols; Appendix B provides annotations for clearly defining surface structures; examples of annotations for surface structure requirements are provided in Appendix C; recommendations for representing intersecting planes are provided in Appendix D; and ISO special specification elements for surface structures are provided in Appendix E.
This part is applicable to the annotation of surface structures in workpieces.
