Scope

This standard stipulates the principles, technical requirements, and management requirements for good management of deer farms, including site selection and zoning layout, building facilities and equipment, personnel, feed inputs, feeding management, safety measures, farm hygiene, farm epidemic prevention, labeling, document and file management, etc.
This standard applies to newly built, renovated, and expanded captive deer farms. Administrative licensing for deer farms, quality management certification, and departments engaged in deer farming education, scientific research, and management can also refer to and use it for reference.
This standard does not apply to free-range and semi-free-range deer farms.
