GB/T 31468-2015 Petroleum and natural gas industries—Pipeline transportation systems—Recommended practice for pipeline life extension
Basic Information
Scope
This standard provides guidelines for assessing the minimum requirements for the continued serviceability of pipeline systems defined in ISO 13623 after exceeding their design life. This standard does not impose any specific requirements on pump stations, compressor stations, pressure-reducing stations, and storage facilities shown in Figure 1. This standard applies to rigid metal pipelines, but not to the following: a) flexible pipelines; b) pipelines made of other materials, such as fiberglass pipelines; c) umbilical cables; d) platform superstructures and facilities; e) structures and structural components. This standard serves as an example of changes to the original design and is only applicable to pipeline lifespan extension. Other changes, such as increasing the maximum allowable operating pressure (MAOP), are not included. Note: After careful consideration by the user, this assessment method can also be used for other design changes.
