Scope
This standard specifies the identification, code, general technical requirements, quality assurance provisions, inspection methods, packaging, marking, and storage and transportation requirements for metal foils supported by a carrier (film or foil) and unsupported metal foils (hereinafter referred to as metal foils) used in printed circuits. This standard applies to rigid and flexible metal foils used in printed circuits.
